Halloween is just around the corner and I’ve been asked to share some DIY Halloween Decoration Ideas and today I am going to share 5 of my favorite decorations you can make this Halloween.
These are easy and fun to make and are an awesome way to show your holiday spirit for the little trick or treaters that come knocking on Halloween. You may already have all the supplies on hand and some items you just have to save such as the toilet paper rolls you will need in our first DIY Halloween Decoration idea below.
1. Spooky Glow In The Dark Eyes
Gather a few toilet paper rolls, spray paint them black. When they are dry, cut out different eye shapes and put different color glow sticks inside each roll. Add tape to the end to hold the sticks inside and place them in bushes or around the home for an awesome halloween effect.
2. Water Jug Ghost Luminaries
Gather a few empty water jugs and draw fun or scary faces on each one. Color The faces with a black sharpie marker. Cut a small hole in the back of each jug to put a few strings of lights in. Perch the jugs next to each other to share the same set of lights with a few strands in each jug. Plug in and that’s it!
3. Bloody Handprint Window Decals (reusable)
What gruesome party couldn’t use a few bloody handprints and blood drops for decoration? These easy to make decorations can stick on more than just windows. You can even put them away afterwards and bring them out next Halloween. Go HERE to see the whole tutorial including the recipe for the fake blood.
4. Mini Draco-Lanterns
This is one of my favorite DIY Halloween Decoration from Martha Stewart that are cuter than they are scary. But the make awesome decorations for a table or on the front porch to greet the little goblins that come calling each Halloween.
