Natural & Super Easy Project For Making An Abundance Seed Ball Cornucopia!


This is a beautiful Thanksgiving decoration for making an Abundance Seed Ball Cornucopia that I found on ‘BHG’. Cornucopia, best known as the overflowing horn, is an ancient symbol of abundance and prosperity. The seeds can represent both the seeds of change as well as the harvest of abundance and source of renewal.

From a home decor point of view, these abundance seed balls add a splash of color and makes a beautiful centerpiece for a Thanksgiving table. These are really easy to make and I love that they are made from natural materials such as dried beans, and dried wheat grass.

What you will need:

  • Black spray paint, optional
  • Styrofoam balls
  • Thick craft glue
  • Seeds, such as split peas, red kidney beans, navy beans, black beans, and lentils
  • Cornucopia
  • Bittersweet
  • Wheat Grass

Cover a small area of each ball with glue. Place beans on the glued area, trying to keep the beans in horizontal rows. Allow each section to dry before starting the next.

Insert some dried bittersweet or wheat grass or anything you choose into your cornucopia along with your seed balls.

That’s all there is to it and you now have a beautiful display of color and a reminder of your blessings for abundance for Thanksgiving.
