This Corded Rope Snowman Will Steal Your Heart

This adorable little corded snowman is all wrapped up in rope though you can also use twine to make him as well. Snowmen are a favorite of people everywhere, and as many craft projects as I have shared for snowmen, I still get countless requests for more.

rope snowmanThis corded Rope Snowman will steal your heart as he has mine and will make a great addition to your holiday decor. You make several of them to give as gifts this year as they are pretty easy to make and will definitely steal the show this Christmas!

What you will need:

  • STYROFOAM Balls – one each 3”, 4” and 5”
  • White cotton cord, ¼” dia., approx. 25 yd.
  • Doll-size top hat
  • Felt: Cranberry and a scrap of rose
  • 9mm black bead eyes, two
  • Wooden dowel, 3/16” x 1″
  • Acrylic paint in orange
  • Pearl cotton thread in dark red
  • Flat wood-tone buttons, four
  • Low-temp glue gun
  • Thick, white craft glue
