With a few simple materials that most of us already have on hand you can turn plain white dollar store candles into Dazzling DIY Christmas Candles! This is a fun and each holiday craft project from ‘Hub Pages’ that the kids can help with too.
Follow the details below to create a stunning display of color for your holiday decor. I’ve seen this technique used before but these are by far the prettiest and most colorful. I really like them and I hope you do too.
It is suggested that these are for display only and should not be lit as the materials they are made with should not come in contact with flames for safety reasons. They are elegant enough to display each year without the need to make more if they are not lit anyhow.
What you will need:
Undecorated pillar candles – Any height. (dollar store)
Paint – Acrylic or washable tempera
Masking or painter’s tape
Paper cups and plates
