I Was Puzzled When He Glued Tissue Paper On A Balloon – The Result? I Gotta Make This!

Welcome to PAGE TWO of the Decoupage Halloween Pumpkin Bowls Tutorial. Now that you have your materials ready it is time to learn how to make your own halloween pumpkin bowl. These are fun and easy to make and are so cute when complete.

The tutorial shows a small bowl being made, but as I mentioned on page one, you can make your bowl any size you choose which is determined by the size balloon you use.

Instructions:

  • Tear your tissue paper into smaller pieces, you will use these to decoupage with.
  • Blow up your balloon. Set it inside a saran wrapped bowl to stabilize the balloon while you work on it.

  • Use your brush to apply some glue to a small section of the balloon, then take your first piece of tissue paper and glue it on the balloon, and continue this process until you have at least 2 layers of paper glued on. Only apply paper to 1/2 to 3/4 of the balloon or as deep as you want your pumpkin bowl to be.

  • When you are finished allow your bowl to dry overnight.
  • Pop the balloon and carefully remove it.
