Coffee Filters Aren’t Just For Making Coffee Anymore!! [Video]

Decorate your space this holiday season with a DIY Coffee Filter Wreath. You can use this technique to make Christmas wreaths or Spring wreaths like the one shown in the video or Thanksgiving wreaths using fall colors. The possibilities are endless with this easy craft project.

This wreath has a set of roses on it to give it contrast. Begin by spray painting your filters in 2 different colors, for Christmas I would recommend Green and Red, but you can also opt for white with red roses or whatever color suits your taste. Once the filters are painted and have dried, you will roll the filters and glue them on as shown in the video below to complete your wreath. The video also shows a certain kind of Preval Paint that you have to mix, I don’t feel that is necessary. It is much easier to use spray paint.

What you will need:

  • 12″ foam wreath
  • 200 coffee filters
  • Spray paint (2 different colors)
  • Hot glue gun and sticks
  • Scissors
  • Wire or twine to hang your wreath
