Welcome to PAGE TWO of the DIY Jelly Bean Candle Tutorial!
Have I mentioned how much I love Jelly Beans?! 🙂 You will love these candles as much as I do and with the tutorial you can make your own and even a few for beautiful holiday gifts for friends and family.
Instructions:
1. Gather your supplies
2. Melt your wax over medium heat using your candle pot and double boiler
3. Grab a wick and dip the bottom into the wax and stick it to the bottom of your jar to hold it in place.
4. Add the jelly beans to the jar filling it to the top.
5. Pour the melted wax into the jar filling close to the top and just enough to ensure the beans on the top are in the wax but leaving the top of the beans showing as shown in the photo below.
6. Remove the candle from the jar if desired otherwise you can leave them in the jar if using decorate jars – If the candle does not slip out easily, tug gently on the wick. If the candle is particularly stubborn, place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
7. Cut the wick to a length of 1/2 to 1 inch in height.
That’s all there is to making DIY Jelly Bean Candles in a jar!
