This is so simple to do with very little cost other than some chalkboard paint if you don’t already have some on hand. There are really only 2 main steps to this process, painting the vase and gluing on the pennies. The result?? STUNNING!

- An old vase
- Hot Glue Gun
- Black Chalkboard Paint
- Lots of Pennies

Is there a reason why you say to use chalk board paint? Wouldn’t other kinds of paint work just as well???
Yes I would think any black matte paint would work as long as it’s not shiny to show through 🙂
