Pumpkin Spice is always a favorite flavor and scent this time of year so today I want to share a tutorial that I found on ‘She Uncovered’ for making an Irresistible DIY Pumpkin Spice Candle in a Mason Jar that you are going to love! Pumpkin Spice reminds us of the holidays with it’s sweet and spicy aroma that brings the joy of the holidays and cooler whether to mind.
Making candles is really easy and can save you a lot of money when you no longer need to buy them at the store. I also find that store bought candles are often lacking in fragrance or it fades very quickly if they do have it. When you use natural spices in your candle making, the scent lingers to the very end of the candle making them even more appealing.
What you will need:
- 4 small glass mason jars (or 2 big)
- 2 tablespoons of pumpkin spice
- 1/2 cup liquid oil such as olive or nut oils (I used walnut oil)
- 1 package of bleached candle wick (at least 12 inches)
- 1 lb premium candle wax
- tape
- scissors
- medium sized kitchen pot
