DIY Sun Catcher & Wind Chimes In ONE Project?? How Cool Is That?!

I love sun catchers, they come in so many colors, shapes and sizes and crafted from many different mediums. Sun Catchers are primarily translucent because they are designed to catch the sun’s rays through them beautifully. Wind Chimes are another favorite item that is loved by many. Each wind chime has it’s own unique sound as the wind blows causing them to chime.

Today you will get the best of both worlds in a craft project I am excited to share with you. I found this this tutorial for these beautiful DIY Sun Catcher Wind Chimes at Stay At Home Life and I think you will love them as much as I do.

What you will need:

  • Plastic colored shot glasses
  • Assorted beads
  • Fishing Line
  • Metal loop
  • Drill

** Please note, breathing in the fumes from melting plastic is probably not a very good idea.  So if you do try this at home, try to use the BBQ or make sure the room is well ventilated, and preferably don’t be near the oven while it’s all happening.  It not like burning tyres or anything, but it sure doesn’t smell like something you should be breathing in!
