4. Tilt your glass container and carefully pour the melted gel down the sides of the container in order to avoid bubbles.

(For the flat top look) Only fill your glass 3/4 way up leaving a little room for the gel chunks on top.

(For the flat top look) Fill your glass almost to the top just below the rim.

(NOTE) If you want the chunk look, follow the directions in step 5-8. If you prefer a flat top then skip to step 9.

5. Now pour some of your gel into a shallow saucer as shown below. This will be used as your top chunks.

6. Let it set and then using a paring or x-acto knife, begin slicing the gel into cubes as shown below. This will be like cutting jello.

7. Now begin the process of breaking apart the little cubes you just cut into the gel wax.

8. Now grab your glass containing with the pre-filled gel from step 4. You will need an empty cup with hot gel wax for this step, so if need be, stop here and reheat your wax. When you have liquid gel wax ready, pour some into the empty cup and begin the process of adding your cubes to the top of your pre-filled glass container by first dunking a cube in the hot wax and applying it to the container one by one as you fill the top with the gel chunks. Dunking them first will cause them to stick together and stay in the container even if you turned it upside down.

When you are finished it should look like this 🙂

9. Set aside and allow the gel to cool. After cooling, cut of the wick and the candle is now ready for burning.
