Safe Natural Alternative! My House Smells SO GOOD!

Welcome to PAGE TWO of how to make Scented Mason Jar Oil Candles.

You can use any size mason jar you choose and fill it with your favorite decorations such as pine cones, crystals or rocks, berries, mistletoe or even fresh fruit. You can also choose your favorite scented oils to use for this project to add a wonderful fragrance to your home.

These also make wonderful gifts that you can give as a set with a mason jar, some decorations to go inside and a small bottle of scented oils so the receiver can make an oil candle with the supplies in your gift set.

This is an easy project that only requires a few materials which you will find below.

What you will need:

1 glass or heavy plastic bottle with metal screw-on lid
1 bottle of paraffin oil, olive oil ,almond oil or any clean burning unscented oil
1 100% cotton wick   **It’s important that it be all cotton. If there is polyester or anything else in it, it may produce unhealthy fumes when it burns.
1 pair of scissors
1 hammer and nail

    • Yes, the fruit and other material can wilt and the scents can wear off just like a candle or other scented items. I make fresh ones when that happens.
