[Video] Learn How To Make Mini Gel Sand Candles In Little Votive Jars Or Shot Glasses!

Welcome to PAGE TWO of the DIY Mini Gel Sand Candle Tutorial.

Now that you have your supplies ready, it is time to learn how to make these decorative mini candles. This is an easy process that only takes a few minutes once you’ve warmed your gel wax. I like to make several of these at the same time to use every bit of wax that I have melted.

Instructions:

1.  Using your candle pot and 2nd pot, add water to your 2nd pot and then add your gel wax in small chunks to your candle pot and set it inside the water pot.
   
2.  While your wax is melting, get your wicks and glasses out and drop a wick into each glass jar you are using.
3.  Add sand to each jar making sure the wick stays centered and fill the jars 1/4 to 1/2 full.
4.  Add a few of your decorative items to the jars such as small pebbles, stones, crystals, shells, confetti etc.
5.  Using an oven mitt, get your candle pot full of melted liquid wax and carefully pour it into your jars, filling them to just below the rim.
6.  If you chose to use the mini nail art decorations, use them now by sprinkling them on top of the gel wax. Some will float and some will sink, that’s ok.
7.  Light your beautiful Mini Sand Candles and ENJOY!
