I found another awesome craft project to share with you from ‘Crafts N’ Coffee”. I love these Needle Felted Snowman Ornaments, they are so full of color and look like something you would pay a lot of money for in a retail store.
Needle felting is the craft of using a felting needle to poke through wool to intertwine different colors to create different designs. In this case it is felting colors to create these adorable snowman ornaments. This is easy to do even though to look at the finished product, you would think it is a complicated task, but believe me, it’s not.
What you will need:
The following list of supplies will create one snowman ornament.
- Styrofoam 2-½” ball
- Wool roving: off white, pink, orange; and several other colors for the background, hat & scarf
- Decorative fiber, small piece
- Twine, 6”
- Straight pins, 8 – 10
- Seed beads, 7 in black
- Permanent marker
- Thick, white craft glue
- Tools needed: scissors; multi-needle felting tool; 38-gauge felting needle*
