There are hundreds of pumpkin craft projects to choose from each year yet no one ever makes much mention of the leftover pumpkin seeds. If they are not roasted and eaten, they are usually thrown away as trash. But did you know you can use pumpkin seed in your craft projects with amazing results?

Today I am going to share 6 Festive Pumpkin Seed Craft Projects that you need to make this year. So if you don’t eat your pumpkin seeds, save them! Many of these projects call for coloring or dyeing the seeds first and the best way to do that is by using a small amount of vinegar and food coloring for best results.

Place 1/4 to 1/2 cup water in small cups. Add a TBS of vinegar, and several drops of food coloring to the cups. Allow the dried seeds to soak in the colored water for 2 to 4 hours, then remove them from the water & allow them to dry overnight.
