Welcome to PAGE TWO of How To Make A DIY Snowman Welcome Sign.
The little snowman heads are made with styrofoam balls and their plump little bodies are made with stuffed mittens. The sign can be made from recycled pallets or any type of wood piece you may have lying around the garage.
What you will need to make your own snowman welcome sign:
- Styrofoam Balls: Four, 2-1/2”
- Wood plaque, approximately 6” x 15” (or use barn wood or pallet wood)
- Acrylic craft paints: Green, red, white
- Black beads, 3/16″, eight (eyes)
- Red beads or artificial berries, 1/4″, four (noses)
- Permanent markers: Opaque white, 5mm; fine line black
- Child size mittens, two pairs
- Fiberfil stuffing, small amount
- Plaid flannel fabric, 6″ x 12″
- Buttons, ½”, eight in coordinating colors
- Snowflake sequins, 22 or so
- White transfer paper
- White, plastic-coated craft wire, 18-gauge, 12″ length
- Low-temp glue gun or thick, white craft glue
