It’s Easier Than It Looks & The Results Are Stunning!

Welcome to PAGE TWO of the DIY Tissue Paper Christmas Trees Tutorial!

Decide ahead of time what color you want your trees to be, whether a solid color or 2 or more colors, it is easier to organize your workspace and separate your tissue paper as you begin the steps to create your Tissue Paper Christmas Tree.

Instructions:

Start out with your tissue paper, leave it folded like it comes. Cut it into strips about 1 inch wide. Once you have cut the whole pack into 1 inch strips, cut the strips into 1 inch squares. Separate all of the squares.

Next pick up one square in one hand and the pen in the other. Put the end of the pen in the middle of your paper. While holding the paper around the end of the pen, twist the pen, this will wrap the paper around it nice and tight.

While holding the paper on the pen, pick up your glue gun with your other hand. Put a dab of glue on the end of the paper. Place the paper on the tree cone with it still on the end of the pen. Once it is glued on you can remove the pen and it keeps its shape. Work from the bottom up a layer at a time, when you reach the first paper where you started, move up to the next layer and so on to build your tree.

Once you’ve reached the top of the tree, you can lightly fluff the papers for a more natural look. You can glue on beads or tiny ornaments and even top your trees with a star or other embellishments to suit your taste.

It is an easy project but it does take time to complete especially if you opt for a larger tree. Whatever the case, just have fun, take your time and when you’re done you will have a beautiful new Christmas Tree decoration to show off.
