Turn Your Old Button Stash Into A Christmas Treasure!


 

Welcome to PAGE TWO of how to make a Button Christmas Tree Tutorial.

While you can make this for merely the cost of some old buttons, beads, pearl headed pins and a styrofoam come, I will tell you that what it will cost you.. is time.

These can take several hours to craft, but when you see the result it will be worth every finger aching second!!

What you will need:

  • Styrofoam cone in whatever size you choose
  • Lots of buttons in various sizes and colors (depending on the size tree you can use several hundred buttons)
  • Flat beads (optional)
  • Pearl headed pins (lots)

Instructions:

  • Starting at the top and working your way down, begin pinning your first payer of buttons and beads to the tree.
  • Continue this process up and down the tree several layers thick covering every bit of the cone underneath.
  • When it is complete, finish it off with a larger embellishment for the tree topper.
