Welcome to PAGE TWO of the Pom Pom Ornaments Tutorial.
This is a great project to get the kids involved with, but if you choose to use the pins instead of the glue that will need to be closely supervised.
You can use either hot glue or flat head pins to make these, both options work well for affixing the pom poms to the styrofoam ball.
Materials you will need to make Pom Pom Ornaments:
- styrofoam balls (the larger the ball the larger the ornaments)
- small pom poms (craft store)
- flat head pins or hot glue gun with sticks
- twine or thin ribbon to hang the ornament
Instructions:
- Using your styrofoam balls, you need to attach the hanger.. best way is to make a small slit in the top of the foam ball and insert the ends or your ribbon or twine and glue it in place.
- Once the hanger is dry, begin the process of either gluing or pinning on your pom poms. You want them as close together as possible for a fluffy ornament.
That’s it.. your done! Now hang and enjoy!
