lighted heart christmas wreath

I love Christmas and I love hearts, which by the way, are not just for Valentine’s day as you will see in this video tutorial for making a Lighted Heart Wreath Christmas Decoration.

I was puzzled when I saw her using 2 balloons and a hairdryer, but the result was simply DAZZLING!

This is a super easy christmas craft project that you can make with only a few supplies and in fact, this is easy enough to let the kids help with. They will have a lot of fun making this wreath and will enjoy seeing it lit up at night as they wait for santa’s arrival  😉

What you will need:

  • Craft glue (watered down)
  • String (twine or jute)
  • 2 Sausage shaped balloon
  • Fairy lights (small led string lights)
  • hot glue gun
  • scissors
  • embellishments (flowers, bells, ornaments etc)

Instructions:

  • Wrap the wet string around inflated balloons. let dry or dry quicker with a blow dryer.
  • Pop the balloons
  • Put a string of fairy lights through tubes and tie the ends together to form a heart.
  • Hot glue your embellishments, plug in and ENJOY

Watch the video demonstration below to see how it’s done. The original video is no longer available, I found this one for the same project but it is not in english. It’s easy enough to follow to see how to make this Christmas decoration.
