Being the mason jar craft fanatic that I am, I have made so many beautiful things with these versatile jars and one of the biggest requests I receive is for making Sea Glass Mason Jars.
In most of the tutorials I have seen on the net and on pinterest, they suggest using glue and food coloring but as you may have found out if you tried it, they do not come out looking anywhere near as beautiful as the pinterest photos depict.
I’ve found a way to create the stunning sea glass mason jars effect using Martha Stewart’s Frosted Glass paint and the result is simply stunning. With this technique these frosted sea glass mason jars can be used both outside in the garden as well as indoors and both look great with candles inside them creating gorgeous luminaries.

I love the Sea Glass. I want to do some. Well more then some.

Glad you enjoyed the post 🙂
Quick question. Are you painting the inside or the outside? They are really much prettier then the other way of doing it. Thanks
You’ll be painting the outside of the jar 🙂
