What’s winter without adorable penguins? Kids love them and when used as holiday decorations, they seem to add joy to any room they occupy. I have always loved penguins but after seeing Mr. Popper’s Penguins, I was IN LOVE!
I don’t know if it’s their little chubby bodies or their adorable expressions that gets me every time. In this craft project from ‘Craft Passion, you are going to learn how to make your own cute and cuddly Sock Penguins.
If you’ve got kids, nieces or nephews, I am sure they would love to receive these cute little sock penguins for christmas. They make great gifts for adults to that they can set out each holiday with their other decorations.

What you will need:
Makes: 1
1. Sock (crew length), colored, 1; or, socks (ankle length), 1 pair
2. Sock, White, 1 (for bean pack and tummy)
3. White felt (for the face)
4. Orange felt or orange sock scrap (for the bill)
5. Safety eye 7/16″ [11.5mm], black, 2; or button; or felt
6. Poly-fill stuffing material
7. Stuffing beans or silica beads (for bean pack)
8. Sewing threads (matching colors)
9. Embellishment
