Alas, I have found another craft project that utilizes your empty toilet paper rolls and is it ever cute!! I found this project at ‘Craft Ideas’ and it is super easy to make and has a beautiful textured faux snow finish that looks like real snow.
This is a great craft project to get the kids involved with and these also would make wonderful gifts for the people on your shopping list. Homemade gifts are so much more special and cost a whole lot less when you can DIY your gifts.
– toilet paper tube
– styrofoam ball to fit the top of tube
– red and black dimensional paint
– knitted tubes – 1 to fit over styrofoam ball, other to use as a scarf
– long thin wooden stick or wooden shishkebob skewer
– natural colored raffia
– white snow paste
– sand
– white acrylic paint
– hot glue gun
– black acrylic paint
– 2 paint brushes- 1 stiff brush for the snow paint
– 1 rounded brush
– white cotton yarn
– scissors
