We’ve shared lots of simple holiday craft projects made with socks, from sock turkeys to sock snowmen and in this project from ‘Crafts N’ Coffee’ you will learn how to make dollar store Holiday Sock Ornaments that are so cute, inexpensive and so easy to make.
You can find all sorts of holiday socks at discount stores so that each ornament can be unique and different. Why not make a set for yourself and give sets as gifts to your favorite people on your shopping list.
What you will need to make your own Sock Ornaments:
- Foam: 3” balls and eggs
- Christmas socks
- Twist tie or wire
- Straight pins
- Thin cord or ribbon (for hangers)
- Thick, white craft glue
- Assorted embellishments: Felt, ribbons, sequins, small beads, mini pompoms, straight pins with decorative heads
- Tools needed: Scissors; chopstick, wood skewer or other pointed tool
