What A Great Keepsake Idea!

diy footprint penguin

I’ve seen many creative ways to use a child’s hand and footprints to create trees, and turkeys and much more. But I have never seen a DIY Footprint Penguin, have you? These are so darn cute and so easy to make that a child can do most of it by themselves with a little coaching on your part. I found this craft project on Crafty-Crafted who have alot of other projects for kids.

These would make amazing holiday gifts for grandparents who I am sure would absolutely love to receive a footprint penguin made from their grandchild’s little foot.  I know I would!

What you will need:

  • card stock paper (any type of paper will work)
  • white paint
  • black paint
  • black craft foam
  • orange felt

Since the original tutorial for this craft project is so cute with photos of a child making this, I want to send you straight there to see the instructions so you can enjoy the photo tutorial as much as I did. So please head over to Crafty-Crafted here: Footprint Penguin Tutorial
