Welcome to PAGE TWO! These DIY Angel Ornaments are so simple to make and so beautiful to look at. You can create lots of these with different colored teardrop ornaments for your christmas tree and they also make fabulous gifts. You could create several of them to give as a set or make single ones as gifts for family and friends as well.
Now that you have your materials list handy from page one, it is time to learn how to make these darling angel ornaments yourself.
Instructions:
- Affix the wooden bead onto the top of the ornament by inserting the top piece of the ornament into the hole in the bead and glue in place.
- Glue in the hair and gold strand for hanging into the top hole of the head bead. You can use a toothpick to get them into the hole.
- You can also use the gold strand material to create a halo to glue to the top of her head if you choose.
- Tie a bow around the neck using the thin gold ribbon and glue in place.
- Create a bow with your wide gold ribbon and glue on the back near the bow for the wings.
- Using the photos from page one and this page as examples, paint the face on your angel with craft paint and a fine brush and allow to dry.
That’s all there is to it!

Re your darling angel ornament could you advice where you obtained the teardrop ornament from. I tried last year to obtain for a beaded Xmas ornament & couldn’t find a supplier. This is the first time I have seen this shape used & would love to make some as they will coordinate well with my other ornaments.
Thanks
I got mine from Michaels crafts many years ago. Try doing a google search for teardrop ornaments.
Thanks, but I have tried a google search, but was unable to find them, I also bought mine some years ago & cant find a UK supplier.
I curious on what kind of yarn you used. Was a cotton yarn and looks like you may separate the plus of yarn.
When I made mine I used yarn that was in the doll section of the craft store so it was made to use for hair.
