These adorable Snowman Icicle Ornaments from ‘Fave Crafts’ are made with foam balls and air dry clay. These look so cute hanging from the christmas tree but can also be hung from chandeliers and even make pretty gift package embellishments.
You can make a set of them to hang on the tree or give as gifts to your loved ones. I’ve seen similar items in stores and you will save quite a bit once you know how to make them yourself. These are easy to make and can be made with different colors for a variety of cute icicle snowmen ornaments you can use year after year if you store them well.
What you will need to make Snowman Icicle Ornaments:
This material list is for 1 snowman icicle
- 1 Styrofoam ball, 1-1/2″
- Acrylic paints: black; green; orange; pink; red; white
- Fleece fabric scrap, 1″ X 10″
- Ultra-light air-dry modeling clay compound,White
- 22-gauge Craft wire
- 2 Red/green pom poms, 1/2″
- Ruler
- Wooden toothpick
- Small round paintbrush
- Disposable palette
- Water basin
- Paper towels
- Scissors
- Straight pin
- Wire cutters
- Low-temp glue gun and glue sticks
- Foam-safe glue or thick, white craft glue
